Affiliate Disclosure
Mylook earns money through affiliate links. This page says exactly how that works, what it changes for you, and what it does not change about what we write.
The Short Version
When you click a product link on this site and buy something, the retailer pays us a small share of the sale. You pay the same price you would have paid going there directly. Nothing is added to your total, and we never see your payment details, because the purchase happens entirely on the retailer’s own site.
Who Pays Us
The links run through affiliate networks that sit between publishers and retailers. The retailer sets the commission and the network tracks the sale. We have no contract with any brand about editorial coverage, and no brand pays to appear on this site.
What It Does Not Change
- A higher commission does not move a product up a list. Where something is ranked, the ranking reason is in the text.
- A piece we think is not worth the money gets said so in the article, commission or no commission.
- We do not accept payment for a review, a placement or a mention. There are no sponsored posts on this site.
- We do not write reviews of products sent to us for free, because we do not run that kind of testing at all.
How the Links Are Marked
Every article that carries product links opens with a short notice under the byline, so you know before you read rather than after. The links themselves carry rel="sponsored nofollow", which is the attribute search engines ask for on commercial links. Both together are the disclosure: the notice is for you, the attribute is for the crawler.
Prices and Availability
Our product data is refreshed automatically so that what you see here stays as close to the retailer’s own listing as we can keep it. Even so, a price can move or a size can sell out between one refresh and the next. What the retailer shows at the moment you click is the price that counts. If a link is dead or points at the wrong thing, tell us and we will fix it.
